Visit to Vietnam Dalat

In the spring of 2011 I went to Vietnam after graduating. My next stop after Saigon was the mountain town of Dalat. Positioned at about 4,800 feet, the climate is dry and temperate -- colder than I was expecting in fact. It is one of the major tourist towns in Vietnam, particularly with Vietnamese tourists. I took a day tour to see a coffee plantation, a silk factory, a waterfall, and I visited the village of a mountain tribe. Like so much of Vietnam, Dalat was a place that had things I didn't expect to see in Vietnam, and warrants a second visit in the future.
